A personal note about my affordability policy:

As many of you know, I'm a full time author, and writing and selling books is how I make a living. Simply put, I need to sell a certain number of copies a month to keep doing this, and there are no guarantees. My books might sell today, but they might stop selling tomorrow. Reader interest changes. The market changes. It all feels very delicate.

That being said, I don't believe that money should be the reason someone can't read my work. This is true in the economic aftermath of a pandemic, and it's true always. The world can be a hard place. Books are an escape. That's my job: to create an escape for my readers.

Moving forward, please know that if you can't afford to purchase a copy of one of my books, you need only submit a contact form on my website and I'll send you the ebook for free. There might be caveats along the way, particularly in regards to new releases, but I’ll do my best to stay transparent and keep you updated on that as we go. This will be used in conjunction with free deal days on Amazon, which I will announce ahead of time on my blog and through my monthly emails (you'll need to subscribe to my mailing list to get those).

I'm incredibly lucky to do what I love, and I'm even more lucky to have found a community of people who see value in it. I write books for myself, but I publish them for you.
